Held by a military court in Khartoum yesterday's meeting to try Islamist officers accused of plotting against the regime in the past year, according to his lawyer said one of the detained officers.

The lawyer said Hashim Aljali, one defense lawyer, told AFP that "the military court held Sunday second session after session first was held Thursday, where he was to provide the defendants, who would be tried under the law of the Sudanese armed forces in 2007," explaining that a general in the Sudanese army did not named by the head of the Court.

Not offer Aljali further details about what was discussed during this meeting, saying only that he defends one of his relatives, Brigadier General Mohammad Ibrahim. Also did not know the number of military personnel who appeared in court Sunday.

The Sudanese government announced in November / last November that it had arrested 13 officers, including senior officers and the director of the former security and intelligence for "targeting the stability" of the country.

Sources close to the file that most officers arrested close to the mujahideen groups, who volunteered to fight alongside the Sudanese army, during the civil war between north and south Sudan, particularly from the group "tourists in the way of Allah."

These sources added that those veterans formed groups within the ruling party in Sudan, "National Congress" demanding reforms within the government and the ruling party. The officers arrested the accused without shooting, while the Sudanese authorities have not provided only brief information on this issue.

Among the detainees there Salah Gosh, who was director of the security and intelligence apparatus Sudan until 2009, and he will not appear before a military court because he is a civilian. His brother told AFP, "I do not have any information about the trial."
